We designed all of our CAE Blue Phantom signature Blue Blocks entirely of our patented Simulex tissue. This model is ideal for training clinicians in the psychomotor skills associated with ultrasound-guided fine-needle biopsy procedures. Learn to use the ultrasound system controls, position and move the transducer, and recognize soft tissue masses in superficial anatomy. This model contains a variety of masses that are hyperechoic, hypoechoic and echolucent, helping learners gain experience in the wide range of lesions encountered in the clinical environment. The Simulex tissue has self-healing properties, allowing for 1000+ punctures when used with an 18-21 gauge needle.
