These full-torso models are the first, fully imageable, Focused Assessment with Sonography for Trauma (FAST) ultrasound training models offering superb realism, as well echocardiography and pericardiocentesis procedural training. Features ultrasound imaging characteristics of the structures in the thorax, right upper quadrant, left upper quadrant, abdomen, and pelvis. Learn to apply the adequate transducer pressure for image acquisition, as well as how to navigate bowel gas and intercostal access. Adjustable internal bleeding levels allow learners to individually vary the training scenarios. This fully imageable upper and lower torso offers extremely realistic internal bleeding that can be adjusted to simulate a wide variety of effusion states, including small, medium and large effusions or no effusions around the liver, spleen, heart, and bladder. The Simulex tissue has self-healing properties, allowing for 1000+ punctures when used with an 18-21 gauge needle. Choose from two options: Transthoracic Only, or Transthoracic & Transesophageal Imaging.
