CAE takes pride in its quality design and manufacturing standards. All CAE Skills Trainers are guaranteed for one year from date of purchase against any defects in workmanship or materials. This warranty does not cover damage incurred through use not consistent with the product design, or by improper storage or care techniques. Failures resulting from alteration, accident, misuse, vandalism, or neglect are not covered under this warranty. This warranty does not extend to any products used in violation of written instructions.

During the warranty period, a defective part or product will be replaced with a new or reconditioned part or product, depending on the availability at the time. ▪ Use only 18 – 21 gauge, new, sharp, unbent, non-echogenic needles & associated guidewires and catheters. Utilize up to 7 French Triple-Lumen catheters.

▪ Dull needles may cause permanent damage. Replace needles approximately every ten cannulations.

▪ Threading catheters into the arteries of automated pump models may result in damage to the pumping mechanism.

▪ Aggressive repositioning of needles rather than removing and repositioning can cause stubborn or permanent needle tracks due to needle tip dragging through the simulated tissue.

▪ CAE Blue Phantom models are meant for needle and catheter insertion only, using scalpels to nick or cut the model will cause irreparable damage.

Our CAE Blue Phantom models are made with our patented Simulex™ tissue, which mimics the acoustics of human tissue. They can be scanned with any diagnostic ultrasound system.

Any product with tubing contains latex, although the latex may not be easily accessible. We are developing a solution to remove latex from our product line. Please refer to the specific product description for additional details on latex components.
